About

Paz Attire Fashion Design is hand made in San Diego.  Our goal is to create comfortable, functional, and fashionable footwear and attire in an honest and caring as well as community conscious environment.

Paz means “peace” in Spanish as well as “golden” in Hebrew.  A percentage of our profits go towards helping promote peace by giving to those in need.  Paz Attire has helped contribute to The Fundraiser for Haiti at the Kava Lounge, The Love Lab, Fire Conclave, Holiday help for San Diego’s Homeless, and other personal donations.  If you know of a charity who you feel could use our help shoot us an email on our contact page.

Laina Gossman: Founder of Paz Attire has her BA from San Diego State University.  She has training in Biomechanics, Kinesiology and Anthropology.  Laina has 6 years of experience hand crafting Orthotics (arch supports), modifying shoes and custom making shoes.  She is knowlegible about anatomy, focusing on the lower extremities.  Therefore, her main concern when designing shoes is comfort.  She has been sewing and designing clothing since childhood.  Laina believes there is a balance to be found between fashion and comfort and the goal of Paz Attire is to be that balance.
